Florida, Federal Residential Mortgage Foreclosures and Mediations.

   Florida Foreclosure Suits and Federal Mortgage Relief are the twin focuses of Renae Merle, "Homeowners in Mediation Programs Face Court Backlog of Foreclosure Cases" (Washington Post Online, Saturday, June 12, 2010).  The article is long on Foreclosure Suits backing up in the Courts, but short on Mediation information.

   In Florida, Residential Mortgage Foreclosure Mediation is mandatory.  That is because Foreclosure lawsuits have clogged up the Florida Courts in recent months, ever since the Great Collapse.

   Note the references in the linked newspaper report to blaming the Foreclosure Lawyers who file Foreclosures, for the failures of Foreclosure Lawsuits.  See Renae Merle, "Homeowners Mediation Court Backlog of Foreclosure Cases," Washington Post Online, supra.
