Since the December 2022 amendments to Florida Statute Section 624.1551 became effective on December 16, 2022, so many limitations and restrictions have been added onto actions for extracontractual damages against property insurers, that property insurers have for most intents and purposes been removed from the reach of Florida's Bad Faith Statute.[1]
