Virginia's Unfair Claim Settlement Practices Act is codified in Va. Code Ann. § 38.2-510. It parallels the National Association of Insurance Commissioners' Model Unfair Claims Settlement Practices Act in pertinent part. It has been held that the Virginia Unfair Claim Settlement Practices Act does not convey a cause of action. Sustainable Sea Prod's Int'l, LLC v. Am. Emp. Surplus Lines Ins. Co., No. 3:21cv697, 2022 WL 3573247, at *4 (E.D. Va. Aug. 19, 2022).
