"Earthquake insurance is not something people generally purchase in West Texas, though there has been talk of it now, particularly in the larger cities of Odessa and Midland." J. David Goodman, In Texas Oil Country, an Unfamiliar Threat: Earthquakes, NEW YORK TIMES, online Saturday, January 28, 2023, https://www.nytimes.com/2023/01/28/us/texas-earthquakes-fracking.html.
"Earth Movement" Exclusions and fracking coverage questions are discussed in § 7:9, Earth Movement, by Dennis J. Wall in Volume 1 of John K. DiMugno, Steven Plitt, and Dennis J. Wall, CATASTROPHE CLAIMS (Thomson Reuters Dec. 2022 Edition).
